Our Commitment to Reconciliation

At Medtronic, diversity and inclusion are instruments of innovation. We believe that when people from different cultures, genders, walks of life, and points of view come together, the quality of work improves exponentially, and we succeed and grow. That is why we are committed not only to inclusion and diversity across the globe but to the National Reconciliation movement in Australia.

Our commitment to inclusion, diversity and reconciliation is rooted in our Mission and our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) provides the framework for our support.

Our Vision for Reconciliation

Our vision for reconciliation is for an Australia that is inclusive, equitable and respectful, honest about our shared history. For Medtronic, we want healthcare to be equitable and accessible with strong health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples who we work with, partner with and support through our technologies.  Our vision also aims to ensure that Medtronic offers our employees an inclusive and culturally safe workplace.

Our Innovate: Reconciliation Action Plan commits us to explore further where we can work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities as part of our broader commitment to alleviating pain, restoring health and extending life.
