Very flexible. I play football and work has no issue with me leaving early to attend this commitment. They also had no issue with me working around my uni schedule

Kapitol is unique in the construction industry as they promote / enforce 10 day work fortnights. This means I almost never have to work weekends, and if necessary to work a weekend I am awarded a weekday off the following week. They are also promoting 50 hour work weeks to ensure employees don't work excessive hours.

As a cadet role, I choose to work as many hours as I please, taking days off where necessary for Uni related work. This allows myself to ensure my priorities are set on graduating uni.

Kapitol is flexible with hours and working hard on changing the culture around working hours in the industry however there is still a way to go. The 10 in 14 works well mostly and it is positive they are continuously trying to make progress.

Whilst the work hours are quite high, Kapitol is devoted to an overall reduction of hours. Additionally, whilst I am still at university they are supportive of me taking off time in the week to complete my university work
