Your role

The Regulatory Technologist position is located at Brisbane's Murarrie site, with a focus on supporting the ANZ region to ensure product compliance with local ANZ regulations and Kerry policies. As part of this role, you will serve as the primary technical resource for both internal and external stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include creating and managing vital documentation and fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure product and material compliance with local ANZ regulations and Kerry policies.
  • Supports internal/external stakeholders across the region by providing technical information related to ANZ food regulations.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including product specifications, product information form (PIF) and customer specifications.
  • Liaise with RD&A, QA, and Operations functional teams for technical information to support customer requirements.
  • Support in the management of emerging issues (i.e., be the point of contact to internal stakeholders as required)
  • Provide support when required during external audits (e.g., contact suppliers / liaise with relevant bodies)
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of food regulations across the ANZ region.
  • Understand & share best practices/ trends and regulatory changes within ANZ with regional regulatory teams and internal teams (i.e., knowledge management across regions).
  • To perform any duties/projects assigned from time to time by Regulatory Manager - ANZ

About you

Qualifications and Skills

  • Open to fresh graduates.
  • Degree in Food Science & Technology or relevant Science qualification.
  • Experience within the food industry in a Regulatory, QA, or RD&A environment is beneficial, but not essential.
  • Developing regulatory knowledge associated with the ANZ food industry.
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to analyze data, and maintain documentation.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
