Management at DHL

6.6
6.6 rating for Management, based on 5 reviews
How accessible are managers and do they make good mentors? You may want to address internal communication, performance feedback or praise and recognition.
Direct managers of the rotation are available and often point of contact for any concerns despite there being HR for specifically graduates. The organisation has so many people inside it that mentors are quite easy to find but often not who you are signed up with. Performance feedback is formally is non existent, informal praise and recognition is scarse but depends on line manager,

I found my own mentors along the way. I do not enjoy the corporate speak and reading between lines. I am honest and transparent and at first it seemed that way. Currently, I do not feel supported. I feel like a burden to the company when all I want is to do my best. I have had mental health struggles which I did my best to keep updated with managers and separate from work. I care about people and my work, but I will not deprive myself of mental clarity and comfort.

Mixed. i have had 10/10 mentors who are willing to teach and put time and effort. i have also had 0/10 managers who make it clear with the hierarchy that im a grad and im useless to them.
