Great - face to face interviews

The Interview process was broken down into 2 different processes. Firstly started with an interview with a recruitment staff , which was a chill interview over teams, getting to know me what I was looking for. And he pointed 2 firms, DAA as 1 of them he thought would be the best fit. And so DAA were the first of the 2 to be interested and so we followed up with an interview at DAA. From day dot the office looked really professional and clean which was a great first sign, and then I got to meet the team who were very warm and inviting with a hint of banter which loosened the mood up. I was definitely nervous coming into this interview, and I wanted to make a good first impression. What I do remember is they run through my CV - and listed off some questions and what I was looking for. and they pointed out what they offer for the graduate position. Multiple forms of training, great amenities in forms of Jamie's training (Pilates, yoga & Circuit). And for me the biggest take away that I was wanting was the training/learning portion and it has definitely delivered. And coming out of the interview I felt happy I wasn't feeling like I screwed it but was delighted.

The interview process was great for myself. I actually dealt with a human. I hated all the online interviews at other firms. It was a breath of fresh air speaking to. I seem to recall having 2 interviews. Unsure of the exact process.

General questions about experience, life goals etc., about myself and my interests out of work

Questions that were asked were - What experience have I had in Accounting/ Tax - What am I looking for - My previous work experience - What is my future aspirations - What are my hobbies - Can I make coffees (from Dave ahah) I used to work at a cafe

What I like to do outside of work and past experience

A few questions on prior work experience and education. mostly questions as if you were having a casual conversation getting to know someone for the first time.

I would recommend just being authentic and honest about why you are applying for your role, what you hope to achieve and your past experiences

Some great advice for new grads coming for an interview at DAA, it was mentioned to look into the partners of the firm on LinkedIn and get an understanding who they are and there expertise's. Most definitely look into the people who are interviewing you. Make sure to know what your looking for in terms of what place, what you want to get out of from DAA. Because what ever you mention they cater for it and exceed it. Be yourself, be punctual make sure that to just relax, hiring managers are fun loving people who make the interview lively and relaxed. Always ask questions have questions ready to go before the interview. Makes you look like your taking initiative and interested. A great attitude always gives you browny points it makes you stand out from the rest, be confident in yourself, and it was show to them.
