Work at the heart of change

At Accenture, we harness the power of change to create value for businesses and our communities. We are united by one purpose: To deliver on the promise of technology and human ingenuity.

We’re a global professional services company with leading solutions in cloud, digital, and security. Every day, our team of 700k+ people innovates with clients in more than 120 countries. In Australia, we have been helping iconic brands embrace change and elevate their organisations for more than 30 years. Some of these companies include:

  • Australian Business and Community Network
Learn how we helped create a digital strategy to help overcome the digital divide.

  • Australian Institute of Marine Science
Using AI, we’ve developed live monitoring to help coral conservation efforts.

  • The nation of Tuvalu
In response to climate change threats, we’ve worked with Tuvalu to become the world’s first completely digitised nation.

Continuous learning fuels innovation at Accenture. With us, you’ll learn something new every day, and no day will be like another. Online and on-the-job training, certifications and mentoring, and leadership programs will unleash your exceptional potential. Being great at work does not mean going beyond your work hours. We want you to live your best life, at and outside Accenture. That’s why we offer flexible work hours, part-time work, parental leave, and a whole lot of work options to help you become the master of your own career.

We believe that a purposeful career is built on work that improves lives. As you make an impact on Australian businesses and government organisations, you’ll also have opportunities to make a difference in our communities. Through our Corporate Citizenship activities, you can volunteer your time and talent for worthy causes such as teaching students digital skills, developing apps for not-for-profits, raising environmental awareness, and more.

Recruitment Process

Application process

Applications for our graduate program open at different times of the year, and the process varies depending on the role. And we get it—waiting for an interview invite can be frustrating. You’ll hear back from us, that’s a promise! Also, here’s a snapshot of the process so you know what to expect:

1. Application
Submit your CV and a cover letter. So go ahead and flex your academic achievements, work history (it’s ok if you have none), and team experience. Also, highlight your interests and your reasons for applying.

  • PDFs preferred
  • Save your CV/resume as “Name_CV” or “Name_Resume”
  • Upload your cover letter as a separate PDF document titled "Name_Cover Letter".
  • Please do not upload any other document (i.e., no transcript)

2. Eligibility and HR review
We’ll review your CV and find a role that suits you. Keep your lines open and we’ll be in touch for the next steps.

3. HR touchpoint
One of our friendly HR team will call you for a chat. Be prepared to talk about the things you put in your CV. Ask questions that you may have, too.

4. Virtual Assessment Day
If you aced the interview (and other role-specific tests), you’ll be invited to our virtual assessment day. What’s that? It’s an interactive experience where you’ll get to show how you think, solve problems, and work with a team.

5. Final interview
This is the final round, so be proud for making it this far. You’ll have a chat with an Accenture leader to confirm if you’re the right fit.

6. Job offer
You’ll get a job offer and know all the details about your role—remuneration, start date, work hours, welcome pack, and more. See you soon!

What Graduates Say About Them
  • The culture and people are great to be around. There is a sense that they care about graduate development and growth.
  • Lots of different opportunities. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do once I finished University, this job has enabled me to try different things and work in vastly different areas. Great so that I can figure out what I want/like to do whilst gaining experience and skills across industries.
  • Incredibly supportive team. Lots of variety in work. Flexibility to work from home. Vast amounts of resources and access to training. Good social and community engagement.
  • The culture and the impact that the company can bring to the wider community.
  • Flexible work conditions, nice people/seniors, training programs and certifications and social events
  • Self-driven development can be hard but is rewarding if you have drive.
  • Can be difficult to get into the exact area you want
  • As the teams are spread across Australia it can be hard to connect on a personal level with your teammates and colleagues.
  • It took a while to get project work.
  • The biggest challenge is understanding where I will have the most impact and making my way to that point
