How do I get into the Accenture graduate program?

Bree White

Early Careers Recruitment Specialist

Who can apply?

Accenture welcomes applicants from all disciplines to apply for their graduate program.

We're most interested in students who are studying technology, engineering, policy, economics or commerce, but everyone can apply.

We value analytical minds, so those who have experience or skills using the more advanced analytical tools and programming languages such as python are viewed very favourably in the application process.

When should I have graduated?

To be eligible to apply you need to have graduated within the past two years or be in your final year of university.

Can international students apply?

Unfortunately we're not able to sponsor candidates, so you do need to hold Australian or New Zealand citizenship or Australian permanent residency to apply.

How does the application process work?

Our recruitment process starts with you applying to our grad programs online by submitting your cv.

We then move into the phone screening stage, which involves us placing a short call with all candidates that meet our initial criteria.

If you are successful in the phone interview, you will progress to a virtual assessment day where you'll work with mentors from Accenture and other candidates in a group on some exciting case studies.

The final stage involves a 30 minute one on one interview

Getting an offer from Accenture

If you're successful in the recruitment and assessment stages and we have roles available in your preferred office location, you'll be offered a permanent position at Accenture.

We do not offer rotations as some other firms do. Instead, Accenture graduates work on client projects alongside industry leaders and are given opportunities to kick-start their career from day dot. You'll be guided in building foundational skills and exploring specializations with support from your people partner (a manager within HR you can reach out to) and backed by world-class training and resources of course.
