Your role

The AuNZSP Visa Consulting & Analytics Graduate Program (VCAGP) is a 12-month program with two six-month rotations through various parts of Visa Consulting & Analytics, including Core Consulting and Managed Services. The VCA Graduate Program supports Visa’s mission to build a strong Associate level pipeline of talent with cross-functional knowledge and experience. In addition to meaningful rotations, Associates are given training & development, mentoring, networking, and leadership exposure throughout the 12-month program.

In the first rotation, Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is looking for driven graduates to join and support the team on strategic client consulting engagements.

Responsibilities:

  • Play an integral role on a team of experienced professionals in delivering strategic consulting services to key Visa clients
  • Complete consulting engagements with other team members, including participating in interviews, analysing confidential client data, and summarising key findings
  • Conduct industry research and identify internal and external data resources to create custom analytics
  • Complete detailed analysis of client data and identify preliminary trends and themes in the data
  • Develop client-specific presentations which address executive needs and deliver presentations to clients and internal Visa partners

Typical projects may include:

  • How does a financial institution increase market share in consumer credit cards?
  • How should a credit card issuer use emerging technology to acquire the best customers?
  • How does a financial institution grow its credit card portfolio while mitigating credit risk?
  • How does a financial institution optimise its product offering?

In the second rotation, Visa Managed Services (VMS) is an extension to Visa’s consultancy offering, supporting the execution and implementation of recommendations to help scale competitive advantage and operate to succeed in the digital age. The graduate will support the Visa Managed Services (VMS) team across important Visa clients in the AuNZSP Region

Responsibilities:

  • Support the deployed Visa team and project managing the delivery strategies of developed solutions with a true entrepreneurial spirit
  • Drive the delivery of assigned tasks/projects in a professional and timely manner with high quality
  • Support strategic initiatives for VMS programs, reporting progress to Client's management as well as the region’s Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) and VMS functions, maintaining governance and oversight
  • Support the coordination and active management of the VMS team (both Visa and external supplier resources) within the client assuring the value delivered, meeting Visa's high standards and to the client's satisfaction
  • Understand our client's business objectives, needs, plans, etc. together with the Account Management Team
  • Generate ideas, identify opportunities, and present proposals for future engagements with our clients
  • Ensure collaboration and overall integration between different stakeholders
  • Leverage Visa's innovation, product, and data capabilities to further grow our client's business by working together with different areas of the company
  • Coordination with Visa Hub teams in terms of best practices and state-of-the-art transactional data analysis
  • Build and strengthen Visa Consulting & Analytics relationships with clients

  • Drive strategic initiatives at Visa’s key clients in the region
  • Manage the delivery of high-quality consultancy engagements
  • Help to intensify the business relationships between Visa and its key clients

Work-life balance

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs. Read more.
