Your Role & Main responsibilities

Your role will consist of both office and site-based work. You will report directly to the Project Manager(s) and will be given the responsibility to assist the engineering team(s) in different projects.

What does this mean?

  • To assist the project managers in document control/management and maintain the quality registers
  • To review technical documents, perform surveillance activities (site inspections and desktop) under the supervision of the engineering team and provide your technical opinion and main observations
  • To maintain surveillance observations and defects records
  • To follow up deliverables (both internally and externally)
  • To assist the team in maintaining the technical, formal and competency quality of all outcomes.
  • To assist in drafting and producing reports and quality documentation

Here’s What You’ll Need

  • Engineering Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering
  • 0 – 2 years of working experience in engineering services (preferably building services)
  • Familiarity with the Building Code of Australia (BCA) and relevant Australian Standards is desirable
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability in the production of engineering documentation on projects to a high quality
  • Ability to consider safety in design to eliminate health and safety risks
  • Ability to work as part of a team
