About TikTok Live Engineering Team: 

TikTok Live revenue engineering team is responsible for building the cutting-edge revenue ecosystem, which includes gifting and other revenue features that are innovative, secure and intuitive for our users. As an important member of the engineering team, you will build solutions that affect millions of users and live streamers.

TikTok Live Campaign Team explores the potential needs of users, building new operation scenarios, and through short-term incentives/guidance and other means, campaigns can attract user attention, encourage user contributions, and strengthen user awareness, therefore leading to noticeable business metric increases. Efficiently support activities through front-end technology and explore diverse ways to play.

We are looking for passionate and talented engineers to join us to build up and optimize a real-time, high-performance, large-scale distributed infrastructure for live streaming at TikTok. We will be deeply involved in the developmental lifecycle of critical product features and collaborate closely with product managers to deliver the best live streaming experience for live streamers and viewers.  

Responsibilities 

• Responsible for the construction of international live broadcasting, including but not limited to the front-end research and development of middle and background, user-side products and activities of various scales in mobile/desktop scenarios
• Responsible for the development of infrastructure, such as engineering schemes and platform efficiency tools for international live broadcasting business support
• Create ultimate user experience and support the rapid development of international live streaming ecology with high-quality designs and codes
• Explore and practice efficient multi-end division of labor and cooperation mode, improve the efficiency of remote and cross-regional communication, and escort the business iteration.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in front-end technology, as well as good experience in solving multi-browser compatibility problems as well as front-end performance optimization
• Excellent understanding of engineering, componentization and other development ideas; have certain design ability with familiarity with at least one front-end MV* framework
• Good sense of service and great learning ability, as well as excellent team collaboration skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Preferred to have experience in multi-end (such as React Naitve, Flutter, PC, Node Server, etc.), 3D WebGL or low code development
