Your role

As an Evaluation Intern in the Learning and Development team, you will assist in evaluating the effectiveness of Tesla's training programs and learn a wide range of skills across Learning & Development. You will support in assessing the impact of existing onboarding and training programs and coordinate with the team to develop evaluation plans to measure the effectiveness of new training programs. You will also support some of the administration of our Learning Management System (LMS). This role will give an energetic, motivated and enthusiastic individual wanting to establish a career within Tesla a solid foundation for growth with applicable learnt skills and industry knowledge.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with the L&D team to evaluate existing training programs and assess their impact on behaviour change and business metrics.
• Assist in developing and implementing evaluation plans, including data collection and analysis, to measure the effectiveness of existing and new training programs.
• Support the creation of reports and presentations to communicate evaluation findings
• Coordinate with subject matter experts and program designers to ensure that new training programs are designed with an ability to have their impact measured
• Support the Learning Management System (LMS) including uploading courses, reporting on completion of eLearning, and ensuring accurate reporting of workshop attendance hosted by our trainers.
• Help to identify opportunities for continuous improvement of training programs based on evaluation findings.
• Assist in translating learning/behavioural outcomes into business outcomes and impacts.
• Self-manage workload to prioritize work based on business impact and deadlines.

About you

Here’s what we are looking for in this role:

• Looking to pursue a career in analysis or a related area. Ideally, you will be studying or have studied a related subject.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and patterns in data.
• High level of attention to detail and ability to ensure your work is accurate and error-free.
• Self-starter that takes initiative and ownership of tasks, with an organized and focused approach
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken and able to quickly develop strong and positive working relationships across all levels and functions
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
• Understanding the Kirkpatrick model (or equivalents such as CIPP, LTEM, LOL) and experience using these to evaluate training programs is a plus.
• Able to take on the role full-time for a 6-month period (fixed-term contract)
