Your role

They are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Compensation and Benefits (C&B) Intern to join Tesla’s Regional Compensation and Benefits team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about driving positive change across the Company and must be analytical and strategic in identifying efficiencies to deliver exceptional results. You must have a strong ability to work on multiple task deliverables, manage sensitive information and partner with stakeholders to deliver exceptional results on a company-wide scale. The role will be based in Melbourne.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the team on C&B programs and ad-hoc initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders to execute employee C&B communication strategies.
  • Support ad-hoc data analysis and the administration of C&B programs, including data management, processing, and reporting.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and analytical skills to drive a robust understanding of compensation philosophies, policies and practices among different stakeholders.
  • Leverage external best practices to plan and administer Employee Benefits, well-being and Employee Recognition programs and policies in the region, to deliver an exceptional and consistent employee experience.
  • Manage external relationships with key vendors to drive visibility and ensure effective administration and delivery of C&B programs.
  • Stay current on all emerging regulations and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

About you

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Data Analytics/Business Management or a related field.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint, Tableau and VBA experience is a plus.
  • Possess a high level of integrity. Be widely trusted, direct, and truthful, with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and gain confidence.
  • Solution and client-service-oriented, with a strong emphasis on problem-solving.
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Willingness to learn, present ideas and improvement
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills as well as strong people skills.
