Your role

In this fast-paced position, you will provide critical support to Tesla's dynamic Energy team and be responsible for various administrative tasks to assist with business development projects.

A successful applicant will have a keen eye for detail, an acute business sense and be an innate problem solver with strong interpersonal and collaborative traits.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support the evaluation and execution of new projects through coordination with the Business Development team and other key internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct analysis and benchmarking on business opportunities relying on data sources and delivering results to the Business Development team.
  • Assist the wider team with pricing and cost analysis for medium to large-scale projects.
  • Gather, annotate and distribute weekly updates and progress reports on key projects.
  • Actively monitor the progress of projects and internal priorities, working with relevant stakeholders to support the execution of project contracts.
  • Support the sales leadership in ad-hoc day-to-day activities including; reporting on sales and marketing performance, market intelligence, coordinating internal & external meetings, and supporting and organizing internal meeting presentations and business trips.

About you

Here’s what Tesla is looking for in this role:

  • Ability to work full time and for at least a 6-month contract.
  • Currently studying or recently completed an Engineering, Business, Process Design or alternative degree.
  • Proven record of prioritizing effectively and handling shifting priorities.
  • Able to learn and operate effectively in a fast-moving and dynamic company.
  • Detail-driven, with an ability to execute with accuracy and speed.
  • Proven ability to work well independently as well as within a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (specifically Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Sales Management software (such as SalesForce) seen favourably.
  • Driven and enthusiastic with a genuine interest and passion for Tesla’s mission.
