Your role

The Customer Experience Intern will support customers during the onboarding and acquisition phase and provide information about Tesla Energy products and services.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage inbound phone calls, emails, and enquiries and deliver an exceptional customer experience;
  • Educate customers on how to self-serve and navigate Tesla Energy products and programs;
  • Accurately record issues and data and follow processes;
  • Provide an exceptional experience to our customers on a daily basis

What to Expect:

Tesla's mission is to accelerate the transition to sustainable energy. Integrating Virtual Power Plants (VPPs) into energy networks is a crucial enabler of that mission. The Tesla Energy team is seeking a Customer Experience Intern to join the APAC Business Operations team. They are looking for an experienced and driven person who will be able to deliver an exceptional customer experience and support the growth of Tesla’s VPP across Australia.

PLEASE NOTE: Tesla is only able to accommodate applicants who have the capacity to work 4.5 - 5 days a week. This is a 6-month internship opportunity.

About you

Here’s what Tesla is looking for in this role:

  • Studying or recently completed tertiary qualification, applicants from any business, energy or engineering background are preferred.
  • Relevant experience working in a customer service environment;
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to balance competing priorities;
  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships and act as a well-respected and trusted partner
  • An interest and understanding of energy products and technology, particularly Tesla products
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Proficient with standard corporate productivity tools (Email, voicemail, MS Office, internet navigation, CRM applications)
