Your role

At its core, Channel Planning is the sourcing of goods and parts needed to support the operation team in each market, including Warehouse and Parts Distribution, Service Centers, Ecommerce and Collision Centers.

The Channel Planning Internship position will assist the Channel Planner in parts analysis, maintaining inventory health, procurement, logistics and new site stocking levels. 

What You’ll Do:

  • The primary goal of the Channel Planning Intern is to provide support to the Channel Planning Team with analysis and management of day-to-day functions that will enable the Lead Channel Planners to take on a more strategic role with the expansion of the APAC region such as new market launch, driving cost reductions and improving overall supply.
  • Liaise with Local and APAC distribution and planning leaders to establish business requirements for any of the above-mentioned services
  • Coordinate and source the supply of critical parts needed to support vehicles within the service network.
  • Coordination of managing inventory health levels within the service network 
  • Local Market research and recommendations for improvement

About you

Here’s what Tesla is looking for in this role:

  • Degree in business, supply chain, engineering, mathematics or equivalent experience or evidence of exceptional ability is favourable
  • logistics, procurement or equivalent experience or evidence of exceptional ability will be looked upon favourably
  • Computer savvy – Strong in Microsoft Excel
  • Be able to work under high pressure and during demanding periods
  • Ability to work with little supervision but within a team environment
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
