Your role

As an Interface Engineer, you will:

• Based in Melbourne, Victoria, Brisbane, Queensland, or Sydney, New South Wales, the Interface Engineer will configure the Cerner Millennium Interface Engine.
• Adapt the integration to the specific client’s requirements, using interface scripting, to provide workflows dedicated to the practices of each client.
• Perform client-requested project work to initiate and enhance interface functionality between Cerner Millennium and other foreign systems using custom interfaces and the Cerner Universal Interface.

About you

Here's what Oracle is looking for in this role:

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration with an emphasis on Information Systems
• Knowledge of SQL and some object-oriented programming language skills like Java, Javascript, or C#.
• Good understanding of network protocols.
• A basic understanding of healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 is preferred.
