An exciting opportunity to become an intern for a rental retail company in a rapidly growing market. Our client is passionate about changing the narrative on the current fashion ecosystem by providing a sustainable platform for brands to reduce waste and consumers to continue wearing brands they love with less impact on the environment.

As a Data Engineer and Analysis Intern, you will have a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience and knowledge. During your placement, you will get to work with experienced professionals who will be there to support you every step of the way whilst you learn the working ways of the workplace, build your confidence in applying your theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios and expand your network and skillset. 

Within the internship, you will learn key responsibilities for Data Engineering and Analysis, such as:

  • Assisting in the implementation and evaluation of machine learning models
  • Identifying patterns, trends, and insights from data.
  • Production of interactive data visualisations and reports for stakeholders.
  • Creating and updating documentation for IT procedures and solutions.
  • Assisting in IT-related projects and initiatives under supervision.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled, or a recent graduate of a relevant undergraduate degree (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, IT).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, Python) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with statistical concepts and methodologies.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Effective communication skills

How does it work?

During the preparation stage of the program, we will discuss your career aspirations and enrol you onto the online Numensa Academy where you can access our Kickstarting Your Career Toolkit™️  work on developing your personal brand and learn valuable interview techniques.  We will then match you with a host company that meets your career needs.

You will then undertake a 12-week guided internship and will have the support of a dedicated Careers Consultant.

Please note:   This internship is available through the Numensa Internship Program and fees are charged for our services.  These are:

  • Standard program - $1,990 (inc GST)
    • Preparation fee $795 - payable at the start of the program
    • Placement fee $1,195 - payable once you have accepted an internship
