Your role

They have an exciting opportunity available for an Occupational Therapy student in the third or final year of their studies to join as an Allied Health Assistant: Occupational Therapy Intern at NeuroRehab Allied Health Network. They seek applications who are passionate about assisting clients with neurological injuries/disabilities. They do their best to minimise travel distances and schedule clients around your home clinic catchment. They are a Child Safe organisation and adhere to Victorian Child Safe regulations.

They aim to build you a discipline-specific caseload but sometimes you may be asked to support a therapy program set up by a different discipline where you will get first-hand experience with working in a multidisciplinary team.

About you

Requirements

  • Applicants are to be in the 3rd or final year of their Occupational Therapy Bachelors Degree or the first or second year of their Masters in Occupational Therapy.
  • Drivers' licence and own roadworthy vehicle – applicants should have confident driving skills as the position involves travelling to clients around your home clinic's local catchment.

Compensation & benefits

The pay rate for the role is based on the Support Services Level 6 Award 2020 of AUD 29.60/hr (+25% casual loading AUD 37.00/hr). When you become a Therapy Team Member, you will receive benefits such as:
