Your role

At My Fortress, they have over 30 years of experience in mentoring and training students in becoming a fully qualified and successful Financial Adviser. With over 65 staff members in the team, they are looking for future stars.

They offer a formal Graduate Financial Adviser program, with mentoring from a Partner and Senior Financial Adviser, which will enable you to learn all aspects of the financial planning process. The program will commence in the administration team where you will learn the core skills in supporting the advice team, transition to paraplanning to develop your technical skills, and finish as a fully qualified financial planner. You will complete the FASEA Professional Year as part of the program.

About you

The successful applicant should possess the following attributes:

  • Completed Graduate Degree in Business, Commerce, Financial Planning, Accounting, Economics or Finance.
  • Willingness to continue relevant financial planning industry education.
  • Desire and enthusiasm to learn and understand all aspects of the financial services profession.
  • A professional work ethic.
  • Excellent communication skills.

This is an exciting, team-focused role that will require excellent time management skills. Other skills you will have include:

  • High level of verbal and written communication.
  • High standard of Microsoft Office competency.
  • Proactive approach and problem-solving ability.
  • Client focused.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
