Please tell us about promotion possibilities and fill us in on what it takes to move up the ranks.
I cannot comment on this as I cannot be promoted as a graduate and move up the ranks yet.

The associates I have met so far has told me that Mars is great with career progression possibilities. And I can tell as they describe their experience working here, seems like most people don't just stay in one role during their time in the company - there is always opportunities to move up or even across functions which is attractive to me.

If I want it, the opportunity is their to become a senior leader and I am encouraged to shape my own development in a direction that suites me best.

Mars puts great focus on promoting from within wherever possible. Moving up the ranks really depends on how committed a person is to increasing their skills and experience, and whether the are open and willing to seek out new opportunities.

The company promotes trying different things and experiencing different roles. All you need to do is raise your wishes and thoughts with managers and they will put in plans to get you into those positions.

I have been assigned a business mentor, who is not a manager of mine at all, who gives me advice on career plans and promotions. Every employee creates a career plan with their "next best step" as well as their goals in their current role. Mars seems to promote people moving through the different segments and progressing in their career. Additionally, I was told that no matter what path you go down, both Technical leaders and People leaders get paid the same.

Not really exposed to what the future could hold for us as Graduates, career progressions or potential future roles are not known and yet to be discussed.
