Based in our Welshpool Office and progressing through a structured program of competencies with a view to advancing your career with MACA for many years to come.

In this role you will gain experience in:

  • Pre-contract risk management. Involvement in pre-contract risk reviews for head contracts and supply chain partners.  Negotiation of terms and conditions having consideration for project risk.
  • Post Contract commercial support and client management. Administration of head contracts and supply chain terms and conditions.
  • Estimating for Civil Construction and Mining. Understanding of the methodologies utilised and cost factors including risk within offers to assist with risk management.
  • Project Controls / Cost Control. Knowledge of the processes and procedures adopted to successfully manage time and cost risk of the business.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Recent Graduate in Bachelor of Law or Bachelor of Construction or similar.
  • High level of course marks in your degree.
  • Demonstrated pro-active approach to work having pursued work, internships, work experience etc. in fields related to your degree.
  • Flexibility to be able to travel if required.
  • Practical approach to solving problems and personal integrity to take ownership of work assigned to you.
