Jarramali Cultural Tours

KJR partners with Jarramali Rock Art Tours in far North Queensland to explore cultural, ecological and community preservation, as well as culture share enabled by virtual tourism.

Joining as tech education partner, KJR was there for the first Cultural Tech Tour held in Oct-Nov 2021.

This tour gathered a diverse group of technologists, archaeologists and drone experts on Quinkan Country to capture drone footage, and photography which will help map out the Jarramali Rock Art Sites using Geographic Information System (GIS). Several tours run per year, and our KJR Consultants are given the opportunity to join!

This data will be utilised to train AI models to support the preservation of Indigenous culture and land navigation.
