Your role/about you: 

  • Provide technical support such as network support, installations, hardware and software set up. 
  • Help troubleshooting by diagnosing and resolve technical problems minimising disruptions. 
  • Maintain and create documentation for IT records for future reference. 
  • Assist in end user training on software and hardware usage. 
  • Creating IT tickets and monitoring progress. 
  • Implement security measures such as including user access controls, antivirus software, and data protection protocols.
  • Are responsible, reliable, and trustworthy.
  • Must have an appropriate visa to work in Australia. 
  • Must be able to travel to the office at least 1-2 times a week (office based in Rocklea Brisbane.

Training and Development: 

Over the 3-month internship, you'll gain valuable experience and have the support you need to succeed.

  • Onboarding and Training: We'll get you started with the tools and skills you need for a successful internship.
  • Your Buddy Mentor: A friendly mentor will guide you, answer questions, and help you feel comfortable in this new environment.
  • Month 1: Settle in and Build Your Foundation. Get essential training, collaborate with the team, and build the confidence you'll need.
  • Month 2: Hands-on Learning. Take on smaller projects, shadow your mentor, and see how we work.
  • Month 3: Spread Your Wings. You might work on solo or larger projects, attend client meetings, and expand your skills. Your buddy will still be there for support.
  • Potential for Extension: If positions are available and your performance is strong, you may have the opportunity to extend your contract at Kitney.

Salary: 

Renumeration will depend on how much experience you have and which level of study you are undergoing e.g. undergrad, post grad, or graduate. You can receive up to $35/hr.

You will need to be at least studying a Bachelor of IT or Computer Science (or any other related IT degrees)
