Your role

JLL Australia now has an exciting opportunity for a Research Analyst to join their national research team as a Research Analyst based in Melbourne.

As a member of a national multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for:

  • Tracking a range of property variables for the retail sector, with a primary focus on the Melbourne and Sydney markets
  • Collating and analyzing data for designated property markets
  • Identifying key themes and trends
  • Report writing for subscriber clients, as well as for public-facing research papers
  • Your analysis and reports will be distributed domestically and offshore to leading real estate investors, financial institutions, major banks, and public authorities
  • Assist their clients with their additional inquiries and research requirements
  • Being part of a market-leading property research team

About you

 What they are looking for:

  • You are a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, who is comfortable working with desk-top software packages (Word, Powerpoint, and particularly Excel)
  • Open to learning new software programs as required.
  • You will be confident, positive, and very well organized.
  • Detail-orientated with a good eye for accuracy, process, and deadline-driven as well as a multi-tasker.
  • An interest in the financial and real estate industry and experience working with large sets of data are highly regarded but not essential.
  • Recent graduate or 1 to 2 years of industry experience.
  • Qualifications ideally an undergraduate degree in Property, Economics, Commerce, and other disciplines will be highly regarded.
