Your role

This Senior Lease Administrator role assists the Property Managers with the delivery of quality property management services. Working with a government client on a high volume of leases.

An overview of the role:  

  • Hold direct responsibility for all base reporting, performance, and compliance requirements
  • Provide monthly fixed, CPI, and critical lease events reports for Property Managers
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and attending meetings when required
  • Manage all Lease Administration-related communications ensuring leases and Vendor/Landlords/Tenant details are correctly updated in the system
  • Review Landlord/Tenant details including but not limited to Invoicing, billings, outgoings, rent incentives, and rent reviews for accuracy
  • Strong understanding of Accounts Payable versus Accounts Receivable Reconciliations for allocated Portfolio
  • Conduct and complete rental reconciliations where discrepancies/arrears are apparent on all statements
  • Undertaking lease audits and completing Outgoings Washup/estimates in accordance with the Lease on an ongoing basis
  • Assist the Lease Administration team where required

About you

Here's what JLL Australia is looking for in this role:

  • University graduate (Real Estate, Commerce, Finance, or Property Law background) OR at least 2-4 years of relevant work experience;
  • Having the ability to understand and interpret commercial contracts
  • Work strongly both independently as well as in a team
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and reconciliation between Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Experience using a property management/lease administration system and Microsoft excel reporting
