Job Description

This is the perfect opportunity for a junior/grad Property Analyst who is looking for an opportunity to kick start a career in property with a market leader.  The dynamic environment provides a highly diverse real estate role with exposure to all elements of the business.

You will be responsible for providing analytical support to the Perth team, in a busy role that works closely with external clients. Your role will include market research, financial analysis, presentation and report presentation and transaction support.

Tenant Representation

JLL’s Tenant Representation team represents small to large tenants in real estate strategy, lease renewals, new lease acquisitions and end of lease/exit negotiations.  The team has an extensive local, national and global track record including creating signature new Head Quarter office pre-commitments in our key markets Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.

An overview of the role: 

  • Assist in preparation of pitch documents and submissions
  • Management of the digital case study library and proactively supporting the team to prepare new content as relevant
  • Updating of databases including Focus with property availability and recent deal information
  • Preparation of submissions, reports and presentations to a high standard (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher)
  • Source, collate, review and analyse market data
  • Develop and operate financial models and analysis (Excel)
  • Prepare and format reports, submissions, briefs and presentations to a high/creative standard (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher)
  • Prepare and deliver benchmarking and market commentary reports (including asset focused reports)

  • Written and analytical skills
  • Efficient and proactive approach, with an ability to prioritise effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly improve skills across financial / market analysis, reporting and transaction negotiation
  • Tertiary qualified in Property, Finance, Commerce, Property Economics, Commercial Valuations or a related field
  • A team player, willing to pitch in to ensure the team meet business goals.
  • Committed to continuous improvement
  • Willing to demonstrate your passion for learning about the property industry
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with experience in creating, formatting and editing documents, spreadsheets and presentations
