What this opportunity involves:

We are on the lookout for a professional to join our Perth based team to become our new Assistant Marketing Manager for The Square Mirrabooka Account on behalf of JLL. The Assistant Marketing Manager at The Square Mirrabooka is a full-time role and will be responsible for building and maintaining a marketing presence, developing and implementing tactical elements to address the strategic intent of the centre's overall marketing plan, increasing market share, sales and visitation rates.  The role will also involve managing stakeholder relationships with the local community to ensure the centre is a destination of choice.

An overview of your role:

  • Assisting with the preparation and implementation of the strategic marketing plan
  • Planning and delivering tactical elements and promotions in line with the strategic marketing plan
  • Being fully conversant with the demographic and social economics of the centre’s trade area
  • Establishing relationships with the retailers and encouraging maximum participation in centre promotions and events
  • Assisting with reporting and analysis on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis or as required
  • Community and public relations - maintaining strong links with local Council, community groups, media, schools, clubs and associations
  • Administration - maintain and upkeep all administrative systems and duties including filing, preparation of relevant documents and accounts payable
  • Digital Marketing – assist the Marketing Manager with content creation and scheduling when required
  • Visual Merchandising – prepare a monthly brief in line with centre campaigns

Sounds like you? This is what we are looking for:

  • Degree in Marketing, Public Relations Events Management or related discipline is required
  • Previous property experience in a retail environment is highly desirable
  • Recent graduate in marketing or related field, with a positive attitude who is ready to learn
  • A working knowledge of all traditional, digital, and social media/relationship marketing tools is highly desirable
  • Excellent reporting, analysing and Microsoft Office skills are required
  • Superior communication and client servicing skills, able to engage well with people
  • Passion for quality – has an eye for detail to make sure the best delivery of services
  • Self-motivated, confident and energetic
  • Flexible – able to adapt to rapidly changing situations
  • Strongly goal-orientated – able to focus on meeting all performance targets
  • Is a team player – able to cooperate and work well with others to meet targets
  • A positive approach to meeting client’s needs whilst managing tenant expectations
