Your role

With ING Bank Australia’s Grad Program they’re investing in the whizzes of tomorrow, today. People are fanatical about customers, products, experiences, cutting-edge technology and smooth operations. So if you’re a graduate with big ambitions, check out their structured two-year graduate program. It’s designed to develop your talents and fast-track your career so you can do your thing – smarter and sooner – with Australia’s most recommended bank.

From the start, you get to choose your career path from one of three tracks.

  • Retail - For those who love helping customers get ahead – the marketers, customer journey experts, product managers, data analysts and UX designers.
  • Technology - Excited about their digital DNA? Then join the company's top-notch talented developers, data and analytics wizards, engineers, architecture experts and network teams.
  • Operations - If you like to keep things in running order then develop your skills in customer operations, fraud, process analytics, business transformation and major projects such as Know Your Customer (KYC).

Training & development

Over two years you’ll complete four six-month rotations – three foundational and one elective – within your track. You’ll also collaborate on two major cross-functional projects working on real-life business challenges.

  • Retail track - Your foundation rotations will include placements in a Product Tribe (Mortgages, Consumer Lending, Daily Banking or Wealth), Contact Centre/Customer Experience and Digital. Your elective rotation can be in Credit Risk, Finance, Operations or Marketing/Customer Interactions.
  • Technology track - Your foundation rotations will include placements in Delivery, Risk & Security and Infrastructure. For your elective rotation, you can choose from Data or Site Reliability Engineering.
  • Operations track - your foundation rotations give you experience across Credit Operations, Treasury & Payment Operations, Business Control Office, Fraud and KYC. Your elective rotation can be in Process Analytics/Improvement, Transformation Office or their Enterprise Tribe.
