You will have the opportunity to immerse yourself within your business unit throughout your rotation, with the view to rotate across other divisions. We’re looking for passionate graduates ready to make a difference. If you have recently completed or are about to complete a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Business Analytics with a focus or concentration in data science and analytics, we invite you to apply. This is your opportunity to:

• Dissect and analyse large datasets from production, supply chain, and quality control to uncover insights and trends.
• Support data-driven strategies to reduce costs, enhance product quality, and increase productivity.
• Assist informed decision-making to streamline processes and drive sustainable growth for the company.
• Analyse market trends and economic indicators to forecast steel demand and price fluctuations, aiding in strategic planning and budgeting

We’re looking for a soon-to-be or recent graduate that has:

• A genuine interest in the Data Science and Analytics within an operational steel manufacturing and distribution environment
• Australian/NZ citizenship OR an appropriate visa with unlimited working rights
• Completed an Australian tertiary degree in the past three years (or due to be completed in 2024)
• Less than two years of full-time, discipline-relevant work experience (part-time or unrelated work doesn’t count)

Successful candidates will undergo pre-employment checks, including criminal, qualification, medical, and reference checks.
