Your role

Iluka is looking for a university student studying land management, environmental management or a related degree to join our Summer Vacation program. The program is a 12-week commitment starting in November 2024 and ending in February 2025 and is located at our Jacinth-Ambrosia mine. The program is open to those in their penultimate year of study. The Jacinth-Ambrosia mine is located in South Australia and travel from either Adelaide or Ceduna is provided. 

You will have the chance to apply the theory you have learned and gain exposure to a wide variety of duties, plus the opportunity to work on real projects in a collaborative environment to further develop your existing knowledge base and skills.

About you

To be successful in this role, you should:

  • Be studying land management, environmental management, or a related degree and in your penultimate year of study
  • Have the flexibility to travel and reside in various locations within Australia
  • Hold a current and valid Australian C-class Driver's License
  • Possess strong communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
