Your role

Icon Group’s Graduate Nurse Program offers a comprehensive specialised training and development opportunity for new nurse graduates. The Graduate Nursing Program runs for 12 months commencing on the 10th of February 2025. The graduate program will be based in a Medical Oncology/hematology setting, also giving you experience within Radiation Oncology. The successful applicants will be initially offered a 12-month Contract for the graduate program and will be working 0.8 FTE across Monday-Friday (roughly 30 hours per week)

The program is designed to advance your clinical knowledge by offering comprehensive training and development opportunities across medical oncology, haematology and radiation oncology. Their specialist Nurse Education Team works with a network of experienced preceptors and nursing staff in the Icon cancer centres to provide training, mentorship and guidance. Their evidence-based teaching program will ensure you receive the support and development you need to truly immerse yourself in an oncology nursing career.

Icon centres are located in metropolitan, regional and rural areas around Australia as part of their dedication to delivering the best care possible, to as many people as possible, as close to home as possible.

  • Bachelor of Nursing qualification
  • AHPRA nursing registration prior to commencement
