Your role

In this role, your will be supporting the senior leaders in the WPB (Regional General Managers) on day-to-day operations, including taking responsibility for the administrative functions within the team and events coordination. This includes all activities supporting the overarching administrative requirements to support the success of this business function in addition to supporting senior leaders to plan, develop and deliver events in line with the HSBC brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Personal Assistant responsibilities to Senior Management including but not limited to diary management, email management, coordination and scheduling of meetings, Conference Calls, VC and Webex coordination.
  • Provide support to the Senior Leaders on the coordination of meetings and Network forums such as coordinating agendas and taking minutes.
  • Ensure the currency of the event calendar including all collateral and support /merchandise is monitored and managed.
  • Ensure all workforce approvals and expenses are managed in a timely manner (leave and expense reporting).
  • Maintain awareness of the key business priorities across the business to ensure effective support is provided to senior management.

About you

Requirements:

  • High-level computing skills are required in all MS office software programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and diary management
  • Excellent customer service & communication skills and a professional phone manner
  • a positive attitude and willingness to help others so that the whole team succeeds
  • Strong time management ability and organisational skills essential
  • Responsible for work performed with a substantial level of accountability
  • Preference will be given to candidates who hold Australian PR/Citizenship or New Zealand Citizenship, or who can demonstrate current unrestricted work rights in Australia without limitations.
