GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) specialises in providing high quality engineering design and construction services to the mining and mineral processing industries.  Our services cover all aspects of a project life cycle from the initial evaluation and study phase through to design, constructions, commissioning and operational support.

We are currently seeking a Graduate Project Engineer to join our growing office team based in Brisbane. Working alongside a multi-disciplined engineering and project management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager and Commercial team in a myriad of project engineering duties. This role will be primarily based in our Brisbane office with the opportunity to partake in site travel.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

  • Assist in Safety in Design control measures to minimise risk to health and safety through the life of the design and construction
  • Assist with engineering design activities
  • Assist with procurement contract packages management and administration
  • Assist with scheduling, project controls and cost control

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering or Construction Management
  • Experience in project planning and management
  • Experience in contract administration and procurement
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written)
  • Understanding of safety systems and safe work practices
