Job Description

The Graduate Policy Officer, Data and Reporting will contribute to the coordination of research, collection, analysis and reporting of relevant and high-quality data and initiatives. They will work with members of the Office for the Early Years and provide support to the Assistant Director of Data Sharing and Analysis, whilst also liaising with other key government departments.

Qualifications

Essential - A tertiary qualification in education, allied health, public health, social science, or social research.

Special Conditions

  • Please note to be employed by the department in any role, applicants must be vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved medical exemption endorsed by the Chief Public Health Officer (or delegate). Proof of vaccination status must be provided for sighting on request.
  • The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.
  • The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.
