Golding currently seeks Graduate Mining Engineers for our Curragh mining project. 

The ideal candidates should have recently achieved a relevant engineering qualification and demonstrate exceptional communication, analytical, organizational, and computer abilities. They should also be eager to work on-site as part of a dynamic and motivated team. With recently renewed contract extensions across multiple sites, Golding can offer a wide range of ongoing opportunities.  We pride ourselves on rotating our Engineers to encourage exposure to different projects, clients and experiences within Mining. 

Return flights from Brisbane, transfers, meals and accommodation will be provided whilst on swing along with a competitive starting salary.

Key role tasks:

• Assist with reports, schedules and plans in accordance with the site Production Plan requirements and client Mine Plan requirements;
• Daily input of data into Clementine for both Production and Maintenance;
• Work with your Manager to assist in the compilation monthly progress claims;
• Attend project management meetings;
• Processing invoices, timesheets and production reports;
• Preparing requisitions, purchase orders and goods receipts;
• Efficiently preparing and managing a variety of correspondence; and
• General administration duties for the project team.

Key capability requirements: 

• Requisite Engineering qualifications at a tertiary level are a must.
• Proficiency in collaborating with Supervisors as an integral part of a unified team and adhering to the plan.
• Aptitude for nurturing strong client relationships.
• Outstanding communication skills, encompassing verbal, written, and interpersonal capabilities, with the ability to engage and connect effectively with individuals at all levels, including internal and external stakeholders and clients.
• Excellent prioritization and organizational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and delegate tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Advanced MS Office skills are essential.
• Familiarity with mine planning software is advantageous.
