Your role

The Gold Fields Vacation Program runs from December 2024 to February 2025 and offers tailored mentoring, technical development and role-specific training to help you succeed. You’ll learn from their international team of talented professionals, exchanging knowledge, building skills and gaining experience across one of their four mine sites.

This role will be offered on an 8-day on, 6 days off Fly in Fly out roster from Perth OR a 5 days on, 2 days off roster based in Kalgoorlie / Kambalda.

About you

You are perfect for this role if you meet the following requirements:

• Ideally in 2nd year or above of your Occupational Health & Safety tertiary qualification (Diploma or above)
• C Class Manual Drivers License
• Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
• Exposure and/or experience in a mining environment would be highly regarded
• Prior experience working 12-hour shifts and adhering to safety procedures would be beneficial
• Ability to follow instructions, pick up new tasks/software systems and work in a team environment
• Familiarity being in remote locations and any experience being underground would be an advantage, but not essential
