The Gold Fields Vacation Program runs from December 2024 to February 2025 and offers tailored mentoring, technical development and role-specific training to help you succeed. You’ll learn from their international team of talented professionals, exchanging knowledge, building skills and gaining experience at one of their four mine sites.

These roles will be offered on an 8 days on, 6 days off Fly in Fly out roster from Perth.

About you

They are seeking applications from passionate & motivated students keen to commence their career as a Vacation Student: Environmental.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally in 2nd year or above of your relevant tertiary qualification in Environmental studies
  • C Class Manual Drivers License
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
  • Exposure and/or experience in a mining environment would be highly regarded
  • Prior experience working 12-hour shifts and adhering to safety procedures would be beneficial
  • Ability to follow instructions, pick up new tasks/software systems and work in a team environment
  • Familiarity being in remote locations and any experience being underground would be an advantage, but not essential
