We are looking for a recent graduate to join our Sales team on a 12-month contract basis.  If you’re looking to turn your university education into career excellence, within our Certified Great Place to work in Melbourne, Australia, we’re ready to help that become a reality.

In this role, you will report to the National Business Manager and develop an understanding of the role Sales plays at General Mills – you will interact with a wide range of stakeholders across the Finance, Sales and Marketing & Supply Chain teams.

In your time with us, some of the key responsibilities and learning objectives will include:

  • Leverage data to develop insights and make suggestions so we can best serve the customer and consumer
  • Play a role in measuring and monitoring forecasts for accuracy
  • Participate in the preparation and execution of range reviews and planning
  • Build strong, mutually beneficial relationships with a range of internal stakeholders
  • A range of tasks to support the Customer Team

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

  • Possess a strong willingness and appetite to learn
  • Have graduated in 2020 or 2021 with a Bachelor in Marketing, Business, Commerce or another related discipline
  • Strong communication, time management and prioritisation skills
  • Be commercially oriented and results-driven
  • Are team-oriented and able to use your initiative
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

The ability to rapidly learn new systems and any prior experience working in FMCG, retail or supplier environment is also an advantage.
