Your future opportunity

We are looking for future thinkers to join the Future Fund for a four-week internship program which bridges the gap between academic learning and practical experience. Get ready to join our team of curious by nature investors. We invite your unique perspective and encourage you to think differently under the mentorship of our Senior Investors.

Your internship will involve: 

• Working alongside sector specialists to research real world challenges that effect how we invest.
• Hear from investment leaders in a series of lunch and learns and get the chance to hone your networking skills.
• Build your professional skills in presenting, communicating, and collaborating and learn what it takes to be successful in future jobs.
• Giving you the opportunity to gain exposure to investment decision making, writing, presenting proposals and navigating financial markets.

Participating in a cross-team, hierarchy busting Investment competition. Collaborating with our brightest minds, you will work with a diverse group of intellectually curious, teamwork focused colleagues to bring unique perspectives and expertise together to solve a real work investment problem and have the opportunity to present your solution back to the wider Agency.

You should consider applying if you are: 

• In your final or penultimate year of your undergraduate degree or nearing the end of your graduate studies
• Studying a any relevant discipline including but not limited to commerce, economics, actuarial studies, science, engineering, law and humanities.
• Have a demonstrated in interest in a career in investment or finance.
• Are based in Melbourne for the duration of the internship.
• An Australian Citizen.
