In this team, you will be working on:

We apply a wide range of tools and methods to measure economic and social outcomes, improve options for decision-makers and strengthen institutions.
  • Regulated industries: We work with both regulated businesses and regulatory agencies to tackle critical issues facing long-life infrastructure sectors, including water, energy, telecommunications and transport.
  • Energy transition & decarbonisation: From major international projects in clean energy to new investments in Australia's National Electricity Market (‘NEM’), FTI Consulting's Energy, Power & Products team of advisors works at the forefront of issues driving commercial and regulatory changes in the industry.
  • Business Economics: Our business economics advisory offering helps clients with their strategic decision-making by providing evidence-based critical insights and analysis on a range of business and public policy issues, disruptive events, and changes to regulatory, legal and market environments.

 

What a typical day will look like

As an intern, you will work within the Economic and Financial Consulting division and undertake tasks across economic research, analysis and reporting. As a member of the team, you will work closely with our experts, who are leaders in their areas of professional practice in order to:

  • Undertake a range of tasks, including economic research, modelling and analysis to support the delivery of our project work
  • Contribute to the production of reports, presentations and other client deliverables
  • Assist with business development activities, including the preparation of proposals and bids
