Graduate Geotechnical Engineer null

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development of green hydrogen projects across the globe.

Key accountabilities will include:

• Undertake desktop studies for geothermal, solar, wind, hydropower, and port projects
• Support the development of technical and feasibility studies across a global portfolio
• Scoping and management of geotechnical site investigations
• Coordination of specialist sub-consultants and contractors
• Data management of site investigation information including geotechnical inputs to the GIS database
• Support senior staff with subsurface interpretation and derivation of ground models
• Support team assessment of geohazards and management of ground engineering risk throughout the project life cycle
• Embrace FFI’s values and proactively deliver on the company’s stretch targets

Qualifications and skills required:

• Bachelor's degree or master in engineering geology or geotechnical engineering
• Excellent technical skills
• Knowledge of site investigation methodologies and fieldwork operations
• Willingness to develop design skills under the supervision of senior and principal engineers
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to operate within a close-knit geotechnical team
• Experience with geological/geotechnical/GIS software is an advantage
• Willingness to travel for short periods
