Job Description

Our Launchpad graduate program is a full-time, permanent role based in Sydney that encourages women to claim their place in tech with the support and training to ensure their success. 

And by women, we refer to all who identify as women including cis, trans, intersex, non-binary, or gender non-conforming individuals. 

No prior experience in tech is required, however, a coding Bootcamp or relevant university degree is recommended. We are looking for women with a thirst for learning and a curious mindset. 

Role Overview:

Working closely with the engineering,  product management, and design teams, you will learn to design, assemble and deliver new technology and products that grow Finder’s capabilities and continue to grow the commercial interests of the company. You will work closely with Engineering Leads, Principal Engineers, and Product Managers to achieve this. 

Responsibilities:

  • Quality and timely delivery of engineering deliverables
  • Ability to work either autonomously or with other members of the team to deliver outcomes
  • Guide projects and deliver on deadlines with a cross-functional team 
  • Identifying, improving, and automating team processes and workflows
  • Championing and embodying great software engineering principles to deliver a better experience for our users and an engaging technology-led engineering environment. 

Desired Skills & Experience:

We realize that everybody’s experience is unique and we value potential and attitude over experience and so not all of these are required:

  • Desire to learn and upskill in full-stack web development using a common language (our Stack is - PHP, JavaScript, Node.js, React/React Native, MySQL/Mongo, Docker)
  • Qualification or relevant experience in software engineering or similar 

Nice to have:

  • Some experience in full-stack web development using a common language 
  • Web3.0 / Crypto-currency passion and/or experience
