The Accelerator Program

Facto has developed the Accelerator Program to launch early careers, grow the Facto community and foster the next generation of technology consulting talent.

Your Role

This is a two-year contract opportunity to launch your career as an Entry Level IT Consultant, to build and develop skills and experience across quality assurance, business analysis and project management. 

Training

We start the program with six weeks of practical training in foundational professional IT skills and consulting principles, with particular focus on testing to ensure a solid foundation in technology awareness. 

You will not only learn the concepts but practice your skills in collaboration with your peers to gain confidence before being assigned to your first client. 

Career Progression

Over the initial six weeks of training we get to know you better so that we can then match you with the right project, short or long-term, for your individual development needs. Professional development is a two-way conversation at Facto and we encourage you to be proactive about your skill development while also providing you with a competency matrix so that you can track and drive your own progression. Facto promotes regularly based on demonstrated skill development, not time in job, so you can drive that timeline in collaboration with your manager.

Salary

We pay $62.5K p.a. plus super to begin.

Your capability will be assessed regularly & you will be promoted based on demonstrated skill development. You can expect to be promoted within two years.

About you

Are you interested in technology and its application to the commercial world? Do you enjoy solving problems? Do you have a thirst for knowledge and ready to get real business world experience? We are seeking motivated, curious, creative, collaborative entry level applicants who are ready to learn and grow. 

Must be:

• An Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or hold a valid visa with fulltime working rights for a minimum 2 years from February 2024.
• Able to work onsite full time in Sydney office initially for the first 6 months of the program for support and coaching.
• Passionate about IT – studied it, played with it and have a genuine interest in technology and its application to business.
• An effective communicator – good articulation of ideas, happy to present to a group of your peers.
• Motivated to learn!

If successful at phone screening, you'll be invited to an in person assessment day at the Facto Sydney office. The assessment day will involve a few group activities, and one on one interview and a chance to meet some of the Facto team you could be working with in the future.
