Vacation Student - Metallurgist null

Your role

This Vacation Program will give you the opportunity to learn technical and business skills from a technical leader who will oversee your development and provide guidance. You will have exposure to on-the-job learning, an individual development plan, a strong support network and ownership to real work projects.  

The intent of the program is to support students who are looking to gain exposure to our industry and build a strong pipeline into our Graduate Program. At the end of your Program, Evolution Mining wants you to walk away feeling confident and excited that your first experience with Evolution may not be your last.

About the role 

You will report to the Senior Metallurgist and contribute across the Metallurgy team. The program will run from the beginning of December 2024 until the end of February 2025.

You will gain exposure to: 

• Collecting plant data for analysis
• Assisting in conducting plant sampling or surveys
• Performing lab test work for data analysis and report generation
• Assisting plant metallurgists in plant monitoring and troubleshooting

About you

You have to meet the following requirements to be considered for this role:

• Have the right to work in the relevant jurisdiction before commencing employment
• Be in your penultimate year of study
• Currently pursuing a degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
