Your role

Ernest Henry Mine is seeking an Electrical Engineering student for our Processing Engineering team, reporting to the Lead Asset Management and Business Improvement Engineer.  You will gain specific practical experience take ownership of real work and projects and make a real contribution. You will have the opportunity to learn on the job with an individual development plan. A technical leader will oversee your development and provide discipline-specific guidance. You will obtain operational and personal development training, especially in safety and business skills.

About you

Evolution is looking for the following parameters from you:

• Must be working towards completing a tertiary degree in Electrical Engineering 
• Data analysis and/or machine learning knowledge and/or interests are highly regarded 
• Electrical power system knowledge and/or interests are highly regarded 
• PLC and control system knowledge and/or interests are highly regarded 
• Instrumentation knowledge and/or interests are highly regarded 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
• Proactive and eager to learn 
• Ability to work safely at all times 

Program Requirements 

• Available to work for the entire 12-week period 
• Be passionate about commencing a career in the mining industry 
• Have the ability to pass a pre-employment medical examination
• Have an unwavering commitment to safety.
