About the role

As Project Resource Geologist, you will contribute to the implementation and execution of geological tasks, such as ore delineation and geological support to ensure production targets can be met.

Key result areas in this role include:

• Delivering grade control and resource models, including interpretation and development of geology wireframes, ore body modelling and data management.
• Be a key member in the design and development of Standard Operating Procedures for resource development activities.
• Interpret and validate the geology and assay value results to guarantee the integrity and reliability of the geological database.
• Ensure a high standard of QAQC is maintained.
   

About you

As Project Resource Geologist you will work as part of the Geology team at Mungari Gold Mine. Key skills in this role that will contribute to your success will include:

• Proficiency with geological modelling, working with people, presenting and communicating information, technical report writing and ability to problem solve.
• Competency with mine planning software packages such as Datamine, Surpac and Vulcan
• Have a good working knowledge of gold mineralisation systems and structural geology
• Knowledge of statutory acts and regulations, and legal requirements.
• It is also important that you are a tertiary qualified geologist, holding a class “C” WA driver’s licence.
