Your role

Risk and Safety management is integrated into everything they do. As a Risk/Safety graduate, you will be part of a team that is responsible for ensuring operations and projects operate at a high standard and achieve Low-Risk outcomes for people, planet and process.  

Through a commitment to maintaining health, safety and security standards and principles, both within the workplace and through the identification of potential risks, you will be actively supporting the physical and psychological safety of their employees. Some activities that contribute to this will include risk assessments, development of critical control tools, incident investigations and the development of plans to help site implementation and compliance to Evolutions policies and standards.

As this is a site-based role, they expect you to work at two different operations across Australia throughout the two-year program.

Training, development & rotation

Their award-winning, 2-year Graduate Program supports the growth and development of the workforce and encourages you to find your preferred pathway. Individual development plans are supported through regular check-ins and reviews with rotation managers, the Graduate Program manager, stream leads, and mentors, supplemented by ongoing peer support from buddies and fellow graduates. About you

Prerequisites:

Bachelor of Risk, Engineering, OHS or other similar degree completed within the last 3 years.

It is also important that you have/can demonstrate:

  • Work experience or in a high-risk industry highly regarded  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel 
  • Experience with data management and GIS software 
  • Ability to prioritise and schedule work  
  • Good communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal 
  • Solid analytical skills and attentiveness to detail  
  • Manual driver's license
