Your role

The graduate program unlocks your potential, allowing you to develop experience and gain exposure within the Supply function, and On-Site. At Evolution, they want to be the highlight of your career.

Some of the key result areas in this role may include:

• Fulfill the requirements of the Graduate Program, including attendance at all formal workshops and webinars, and completion of assignments and deliverables to the designated timeframe
• Source data, undertake analysis and prepare professional documents and reports
• Conduct fieldwork including assurance and critical control verifications as required
• Participate in site and other forums to share lessons and deliver key risk management messages  
• Facilitate risk register reviews, and risk assessments at multiple levels as well as the development of critical control tools and activities where required
• Development of plans to help site implementation and compliance with Evolution Policy and Standards
• Develop a knowledge base to support risk management and assurance outcomes

You will be exposed to on-the-job learning, an individual development plan, a strong support network, and ownership of real work projects from day one. You will have the opportunity to learn technical and business skills from a technical leader who will oversee your development and provide guidance.

Career progression

Should you successfully fulfil all requirements of the two-year Graduate Program, you will be offered a permanent role in the business. Their extensive support network will work together with you to finalise your permanent location and position, aligned to your skills, interests and business needs. This is based on criteria including meeting individual performance standards and participating in all aspects of the graduate program.

About you

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Risk, Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety or other related field
• Experience on a mine site or in other high-risk industries highly regarded
• Good computer literacy, including spreadsheet and database development
• Competent user of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience with data management and GIS software highly regarded
