Your role

Evolution encourages innovation and has values where people are empowered to grow and succeed. The following is a general guide to the roles that can be undertaken by a graduate:

  • Source data and prepare professional documents and reports
  • Conduct fieldwork including sampling and surveys and prepare samples
  • Participate in pre-shift meetings to share lessons and deliver environmental messages  
  • Complete risk assessments and implement controls in the site risk register and aspects and impacts registers where required
  • Development of plans to help site implementation and compliance with Evolution Policy and Standards
  • Develop a knowledge base to support sustainable mining and environmental stewardship
  • Collaborate with Sustainability peers and others to support the site's strategic plans
  • Start your journey with Evolution and contribute to the company’s Vision, Goals and Values

You will be exposed to on-the-job learning, an individual development plan, a strong support network, and ownership of real work projects from day one. You will have the opportunity to learn technical and business skills from a technical leader who will oversee your development and provide guidance.

Should you successfully fulfil all requirements of the two-year Graduate Program, you will be offered a permanent role in the business. About you

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science - Environment or related
  • 4WD experience and manual driver's licence
  • Good computer literacy, including spreadsheet and database development.
  • Competent user of MS Word and Excel
  • Experience with data management and GIS software
  • Ability to prioritise and schedule work
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Experience on a mine site or regional vegetation management highly regarded (not required)
