Your role

The graduate program unlocks your potential, allowing you to develop experience and gain exposure within the Supply function, and On-Site. At Evolution, they want to be the highlight of your career.

Some of the key result areas in this role may include:

  • Fulfill the requirements of the Graduate Program, including attendance at all formal workshops and webinars, and completion of assignments and deliverables to the designated timeframe
  • Work with the Contracts and Procurement Specialists and provide assistance to build relationships and engage with stakeholders to determine business needs, requirements, changes, risks, and expectations to enable fully informed procurement planning, scoping and sourcing decisions.
  • Develop a recognition of the different sourcing strategies and over time be able to develop strategies that reflect the importance and value of items being procured.
  • Assist in Preparing category spend data, profiling, and compiling sourcing documents for market testing.
  • Assist in sourcing activities in accordance with established policies and procedures participate in negotiations to establish and review supply arrangements and assist in the implementation of outcomes
  • Assist in the implementation and contribute to the development of contract management plans, resolve issues, monitor performance, and negotiate contract variations through effective supplier relationships to enhance business outcomes.
  • Provide governance, assistance and guidance on procurement-related matters to EVN stakeholders and support good practice in procurement.
  • Maintain tender platform and contracts register and ensure information is current, accurate and complete.
  • Maintain and update spend reports and prepare reports on procurement and contract activity to meet organisational requirements.

Should you successfully fulfil all requirements of the two-year Graduate Program, you will be offered a permanent role in the business. About you

Requirements:

  • Degree qualification in Business or Mining.
  • An industry technical background would be beneficial although not essential
  • Worked as part of a team to deliver time-critical outcomes
  • Project management is desirable although not essential
  • Strong team focus, collaboration skills and prepared to listen to feedback
  • Ability to be accountable for actions in the delivery of business outcomes
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal
